Equipping Christians to Walk in Obedience to God’s Word.

Believing the word of God and getting saved is not a big problem for many people. This important first step is what is called salvation, which exposes us to the new nature in Christ through faith. But prior to encountering Christ, every saved person had a strongly rooted old nature of deceitful desires (Eph. 4: 20-32). The real challenge of obedience to the word of God for most believers is in putting off the old nature of sin and clothing themselves with the new nature of righteousness in Christ. For practical convenience, most people put on the helmet of the new nature of salvation on their head while retaining the filthy garment of the old nature over the rest of their body. They therefore pull out which ever nature that can help them achieve their goal at any given time and when necessary, they mix the old and new together to achieve their purpose. This is a highly dangerous trend, especially for a non-recent convert who should know better about the consequences of disobedience and partial obedience to God (see Deut. 28; 1 Sam. 15). This ministry is committed to proclaiming obedience to the word of God, and helping believers who are struggling with any [besetting] sinful habits and lifestyle to put off the old nature of sin. “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer that forgets but a doer that acts, he shall be blessed in his doing” (Jm. 1:22-25).
